I need to have a few circular saw blades and planer knives sharpened. Any recommendations? I’d prefer some place in Suffolk but not necessary if there is some drop off/pick-up service available. I could not find any shops online. Thanks in advance!

I use Rite-way sharpening 72 Whitehall St Valley Stream. Great service, turnaround time fast, they do a nice job and prices are good.

Not sure about shipping, I usually just take it there.

Thanks, Charlie, that’s an option. My problem is, I don’t have the flexibility with this job as I used to have so getting to shops before closing is a problem. I could consider any of the mail order services. Even Ridge Carbide has a service. But shipping is an additional cost.
From the looks of things, this could be a great business opportunity.

I use American Saw in Medford (rt 112). Bring your blades to the meeting tonight and I’ll drop them off for you. Usually get them back in a week.

    Bob,
Thanks! I thought they were out of business. That’s where I used to take my blades. I guess I still can. Unfortunately, I didn’t read your offer until this morning, so I’m on my own. But thank you! They are on the way home so I’ll have to figure something out.
