As was mentioned at the May meeting, we are planning a TOOL SWAP for the June BBQ. The club is NOT asking for any fee or commission on any sales. Just tag your woodworking related items with your name and price and bring it in. Larger items can be left in your vehicle if you don’t want to carry them in. You don’t have to sit with the items – we’ll be right outside. You can buy, sell or trade tools as you wish.
What you buy in June you can always sell in November.
Looking forward to seeing you all again.

Just a reminder to keep this notice alive. June 6th, is our annual BBQ starting an hour earlier at 6:00 PM. It’s still not too late to volunteer to help. Contact Bob Wood if you are interested in lending a hand or bringing in a grill.

Also remember we are promoting a tool swap for members only. No commission. Just tag your items with your name and price and put it on the table.

Hope you can make this a great turnout!

I’d volunteer, but I’ll be bringing the entertainment in the form of a 3 yr old with too much energy who I’ll probably feed ice cream…

No problem. We can stick an apron on him and let him flip burgers. He can’t do any worse than Woody. :)
Make sure you bring his birth certificate so we know whether or not to charge him.

Once you see his cranium there’s no mistaking him for mine.

To ensure it doesn’t rain, I’ll bring two canopies.

That’s a $10 fine for using the “R” word, Bill. Shame on you!

I do most of my planting on the first Wednesday of June just to insure plentiful watering! Sometimes I worry about snow as well…

Past events may have proven soggy but today WILL be different! Your plants will wither and fade away. We will consume massive quantities of beef and beef byproducts in the great outdoors.

Great BBQ guys! Nice to just hang out and BS with so many of you.

A special thanks to Joe Bertoni, Mike Mittleman and Bob Wood for firing up and maintaining the grills. And of course Jim Heick for pulling it all together. If it weren’t for Jim’s extensive experience and expertise in Costco we would not have had anything to eat. Well, Eddie arranged for Mr. Softee at half Joe P’s vig. so we did have that. Great job guys.

How did you guys make out at the tool swap; anything?

I’ll second that Joe . It was an excellent BBQ ! Burgers were so much better than the hockey pucks I end up with when I cook . Good Job !

You’ll all be relieved to know Jack fell asleep before we got to the Watermill, and went right to bed when we got home. It was touch n go for a while there…
