Right? What a talented guy. I was amazed when he brought Elmers white glue to the club presentation and told us that he used it for almost all his veneering. I’m not sure if you were at his shop in Joisey on 09/10/01. GPS wasn’t around yet for cars and phones so we used the trade center as our landmark to find our way back to NYC.. Little did we know all of our lives would change in less than 24 hours.

I had a problem with my band saw table on delivery and since it had a low spot so I called the manufacturer, Mini-Max. I didn’t want to place tape or jury rig the table to fix their problem. They paid for it to be ground to where it should be. If it will affect the quality of your work, I’d say call them. Maybe they’ll grind it or replace it. Enjoy..

That the new club workshop? You can put it together in my backyard but we might have to stand it on end and twist it a bit to fit.

There’s a moldy one in the middle, send it back. How many pages in the instruction booklet?

Ben, I know, absolutely, I’m guilty of it as well. If people are not taught how to use a tool safely they can get seriously hurt as well. I watched three workers putting down a solid wood floor at a friends private house, only one of them knew what he was doing, the other two just cut the wood to size and brought in equipment. The “cutters” had a portable table saw and they took the fence off for a cut that should have been made with a jigsaw. Most of the time the saw was in use the fence was off, just the blade spinning. The saw was making noises and wood smoke was rising. I told the guy at minimum, he was going to lose his fingers, he paid no attention. I left and they continued.
