The Long Island Cabinet and Furniture Makers - "Dedicated to the Craft of Cabinetmaking"
The Long Island Cabinet and Furniture Makers (LICFM) was founded in 2006 and is a Special Interest Group (SIG) of the Long Island Woodworkers. All members of LICFM must also belong to the Long Island Woodworkers.
Membership is open to persons of all skill levels, from beginners to professionals.
The LICFM objectives are similar to those of its parent organization, the LIW, and expand on those particular to cabinetmaking, cabinetry, and related topics.
Meetings feature guest speakers as well as club members who share their expertise. Topics cover the range of designing projects to building and finishing them.
