Yea, Bill. I made one of those last week. Problem was we have no room for it in the house so I put it out on the curb. Fortunately, someone took it.

I made one also but finally became frustrated with the clock as It never kept the right time! Neither my valet nor my Butler could fix it so I sent it to England. Not to anyone in particular, I just addressed it to England and mailed it. Maybe they can fix the stupid clock…

I remember when Norm made one. I wanted to learn how he did it, but he pulled out his Roentgens maker, so he finished it in one show. Lee Valley doesn’t sell one.

I’m redesigning it with a mid-century Scandinavian teak base, and a rustic knotty pine/T1-11 OSB top. I’ll let you know as it shapes up.

I’ve got some pallet wood that’s been laying in my yard a few years if you want it. Don’t bother with any inlays or marquetry either. You can find some holly colored and paint by number. A digital alarm clock would look good at the top.

Digital might work, but this one has a more classic feel:

Thanks Bill; it gave me some ideas.
