The next woodturning meeting will take place this coming Thursday at our new woodturning meeting venue. The location is 701 Koehler Avenue Unit 4. Our Oneway lathe will be there and should be ready to go.

From the L.I.E. the Koehler avenue location is off Veterans highway about a block or two from McArthur Avenue I will be there Sunday morning at 8:30am to get everything set to go. If anyone wants to stop by to find the venue in advance you are welcome to show up.

The topic will be the process to turn a bowl from a log. We will try to get a suitable “green” log to use and help make this suitable for any newbies who might want to try their hand. Depending on how far we get next week we may continue this topic for one or more additional meetings to show the complete process. Also; now that our equipment is in place please consider volunteering to do a presentation for future meetings.

Please bring chairs as we do not know what may be available for us to use.

The entrance for the new location is in the back of the building. Please park either in the front or on the side.
