Turners' Meeting / Bob Urso Demonstration

Congratulations to Bob on a great demonstration of bowl-making at last night’s Turners’ Meeting. The very heavy SIG turnout was mighty impressive as well. Our new location’s environment is conducive to creativity and making lots of sawdust since it is a working metal fab and wood shop.

While I thought the meeting was successful, i think two things would improve future sessions. First, some sort of audio system would improve the presentations. Given the high ceilings and hard surfaces at Koehler Avenue, the acoustics are challenging for speakers. Second, a longer extension cord (about 25 feet) would be helpful since it would allow better placement of the Oneway lathe.
