Congratulations and many thanks to Charlie Morehouse for his extremely informative presentation on shellac and water-based polyurethane finishes. Charlie should be considered a “National Treasure.” His 40+ years of experience with finishes and relaxed presentation style are an unbeatable combination. BTW, after listening to Charlie last night, I am convinced he was the person responsible for teaching Mr. Miyagi the Tao of, “Wax on, wax off.” Thanks, Charlie.

I agree, Mike. Charlie is one of those Go-To guys in the club. His experience is unparalleled. He makes it look so simple – and doesn’t get any dust from paper towels! Now that’s a pro.

I posted a similar note on the private forum, but I agree, saying how great Charlie was in public lets everyone know what they are missing. And as a side note, I was in Home Depot yesterday, and a good thing, since I saw this, no doubt less than an hour from when Charlie was probably showing up to clean them out.

I am truly grateful to Charlie. He has made finishing simple yet elegant. Is elegant the right word?
