To all the Long Island Woodworkers members, great show. Many people worked very hard to stage this years show and delivered one of our best. Hats off to all.

I agree Mike! There was lots of help setting up and cleaning up and over 300 projects on display, double what we usually have. We have to encourage people to get ready for next year. The museum space worked out well and the natural light in the atrium really helped show off the projects. I hope they want us back next year.

Quite true boys! Great show everyone. My compliments to all those who made it happen and happen so well. There were many who made this work but a special thanks to Bill Leonhardt for seeing this through.
Clean-up was amazing. MASH units have nothing on you guys. A personal thanks to all of you who helped me break down and load up my truck. I’d still be there if not for you guys. And as always, great to work alongside by buddies Daryl and Woody.
Here’s to next year!

I agree, there are so many people to thank. Bill Leonhardt, Patti Lerner, Jim Moloney, so many others, you made it all look seamless, as though it was your job for many years. And yes, it was great fun to show hand skills alongside Joe and Woody.

The show really demonstrated the high level of talent. scrollers, carvers, turners, cabinetmakers. The willingness to share and teach make the show……all done so well…. Congrats to all the members who put in the hard work to make the show a success…..can’t wait to see Daryl float that boat!

Joe Mayday, not a problem. My boat has a stand with threaded holes, so we can bolt it right to your chest (I volunteer to drill the holes) and see how all that wood floats. Next Saturday at 10 am, Town Dock in Port Washington.
