Congratulations to Charlie James, Rich Macrae, Bob Urso and Gary Mayhew for taking home ribbons for their exceptional work exhibited at the NWA showcase in Saratoga Springs this weekend. Charlie was even awarded the People’s Choice Award for his jewelry chest.
I had nothing to do with it but I felt proud seeing those ribbons on their projects.
    Great job boys!

Joe, thanks for that and I’d also like to congratulate everyone on winning a ribbon. You are incorrect in stating that you had nothing to do with it though. Board members should be congratulated. Every member of the club that asks a question, answers a question or becomes involved with the club deserves congratulations as well. Just having a club where you can experience woodworking of all types, at any level, adds to all of our techniques. There is something to be learned from every member that demonstrates or just shows up, no matter how long they’ve been working with wood. Charlie

Thanks guys , it’s hard to add to Charlie’s elegance except to add that I too am very thankful to the club not only for the camaraderie which we all share , but for challenge me and others to be better woodworkers.
By the way a special congrats to Charlie , the People’s choice award is by my judgement is the highest award to recieve, beats best in show any day
