    It has been a great tool, albeit a bit too heavy. And finiky as dust could easily enter the two posts when used in a router table.
    Now, the motor gives out grinding noise. Maybe just the brushes need to be changed?
    Freud is not in the business any more.Would anyone have a reference for repair? Or does anyone wants it for parts ?

    Ace Tool in Wantagh repairs tools, but it sounds like it’s sharper to go the “buy Gabe’s from Joe route.” However, have you tried to blow out the motor with compressed air. As Pete Profeta said (he used to work at Ace), do that before you try anything else.
