I broke my lathe tool rest. Actually, the post broke which is 1 inch in diameter. Does anyone have one for sale or knows where to purchase one? See photo.

Several tool rests with 1″ posts and varying widths are available from Amazon, Rockler, eBay, etc.

I was in the middle of a job and the banjo wasn’t big enough. I made this, It works fine as long as you don’t beat it up, I still use it on occasion…

Thanks guys.will probably just buy a new rest at one of the stores Mi,ke mentioned. Thanks for your help. Btw when the post broke it scared the …out of me, luckily I was not in the flight path.
