Roubo Workshop Signup

The splash page has the signup information for our first weekend workshop in far too long. Ben Nawrath and I will be leading a hands on workshop in making, from start to finish in 5 hours a Roubo inspired cellphone stand, or if you are feeling ambitious, a tablet or bookstand (or even both). You supply the workbench (any WorkMate or similar will work (the folding tables in the Barn won’t hold up to this) and the tools, we will supply the wood and some of the more esoteric items that will help.

This is a small project, so you can share workbenches if you feel the need. A tool list will be emailed to all entrants. We keep noting to bring SHARP chisels to this workshop since this isn’t a sharpening session. You will need to rehone your tools, so be prepared for that as well. Lunch will be included, but please bring any food or drink you would like to.

The cost is $35 for members, $40 for non members, with priority given to members and their significant others. There will be a lot of sharp tools here, so please, no children or pets. All contact information is on the splash page, when you click on it. You can mail it or email it as shown.
